You are very welcome to present a paper if you have completed your doctorate within the last five years.

I am not intending to present a paper; can I still attend the conference?

Of course! Anyone who wishes to register to attend is very much encouraged to do so and participate.

I am currently not enrolled in a graduate degree; do I still qualify as a graduate?

You still qualify to participate even if you are not currently enrolled in a graduate degree, provided that you have completed a degree within the last three years. So if you have completed a Masters but have not yet enrolled for a doctoral degree you are just as welcome to apply to present a paper.

Do I need to take up accommodation at …….?

You can also arrange for you own accommodation. However, we strongly recommend you to take up the B&B option at ……….. since you will not be able to find anything cheaper in Cambridge and right next to the conference venue.

Will I be able to publish my contribution?

All participants presenting a paper at the symposium will have the chance to submit an article based on their presentations for the series Pupikā: Tracing Ancient India Through Texts and Traditions. Contributions to Current Research in Indology. Volume II. by the end of December 2010. The outcome will be announced by the end of January 2011. The publishers estimated that the time between submission of the final version and the first print run will be approximately six months, so we are expecting to have the publication out sometime during the following summer 2011.
